A group of 44 young people from the Piria–Ferraris/Da Empoli Institute of Reggio Calabria took part in the Creation of Digital Stories training held in the Municipality of Sant’Alessio.

Participants joined an immersive journey through the places and traditions of the village, visiting:

the ancient watermill

the maccaruni al ferretto pasta-making workshop

the historic olive press

the traditional palmento

Thanks to the previous digital storytelling sessions on the 20th and 21st, held by Tatix, the students were able to transform these experiences into digital stories using videos, images, audio, and text.

The materials they produced will enrich the local association Feel Aspromonte’s outreach initiatives, helping to showcase the territory through a fresh and creative youth perspective.
